2. Conclusion of contract: A contract between the guest and the Hotel comes into effect upon receipt of a written, telephone, electronic, or personal booking and the issuance of a reservation confirmation. Reservations are considered binding as soon as an offered service has been confirmed in writing. These General Terms and Conditions form an integral part of the contract. Notifications sent by email are considered to be in writing.

3. Duration of use: Unless otherwise agreed, rooms are available from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. On the agreed day of departure, rooms must be vacated and returned to the Hotel no later than 3:00 p.m. If the room is returned late, the Hotel may charge 50% of the full room rate (list price) for use of up to two additional hours. For delays of more than two hours, 100% of the full room rate (list price) will be charged. Any additional costs incurred by the Hotel will also be charged to the guest. This does not give rise to contractual claims by the customer. The customer is free to prove that the Hotel incurred no damages or significantly lower damages.

4. Smoking: Smoking is not permitted in any of our rooms. Failure to comply will result in cleaning costs of at least CHF 500.00.

5. Pets: House trained pets are very welcome. The pet fee is CHF 20.00 per pet per night. Please do not let your pets on the beds. If a pet gets on a bed or soils anything in the house with urine, faeces or vomit, we charge at least CHF 250.00 per incident for cleaning.

6. Parking: Guests have access to outdoor parking spaces and, subject to availability, covered parking spaces. The Hotel accepts no liability for damage to vehicles.

8. Prices: Unless otherwise stated, all prices are in Swiss francs (CHF) and include the legally applicable Swiss VAT. Prices are subject to change and are displayed accordingly.

9. Price changes: The Hotel may adjust previously communicated or published prices without prior notice in the following cases: newly introduced or increased government charges (e.g. VAT, visitor’s tax, etc.) to the extent of the fee increase; exchange rate fluctuations (calculated at the Hotel’s current reference rate); obvious printing errors; adjustments to market conditions.

10. Advance payment / security deposit: The Hotel is entitled to request an appropriate advance payment or security deposit, for example by means of a credit card guarantee, at the time of contract conclusion. The amount and due dates may be specified in the contract in written form. In justified cases, such as delayed payment by the customer or extension of contractual obligations, the Hotel may also request an additional advance payment or increase of the security deposit after contract conclusion, up to the full agreed remuneration. The Hotel is also entitled to request a reasonable advance payment or security deposit at the beginning or during the stay for existing or future claims arising from the contract, unless already provided. Accepted payment methods: credit cards and invoice (prepayment). If payment by invoice is agreed, the full invoice amount is due 20 days after the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed.
